Size requirements
Primary logo
The Primary logo may be used in various sizes, but the following guidelines will help to ensure a consistent approach to logo application on all materials.
The minimum acceptable size of the Primary logo is 1.5 inches wide in print and 1.25 inches for web applications. In general, the only instances where the Primary logo should be printed in its smallest size of 1.25 inches wide is on applications where the logo is placed next to several other small logos. An example of this would be a sponsor logo placed in an event program book or advertisement next to the logos of other organizations.
It is recommended that the Primary logo be used in a size that is proportionate and appropriate to the format to which it is applied. For letter size (or similar) applications, the preferred width is 2.5 inches.
The Primary logo should never be disproportionately large relative to other elements. The maximum width allowed on a letter-size (or similar) document is 3 inches wide, and this should be used sparingly. Never use the 3-inch logo for standard business collateral such as newsletters, letterhead, brochures, or similar documents.
The Primary logo may be larger than 3 inches wide on materials including banners, posters, vehicles, signage, promotional products, and other large-scale media. Care should always be taken to maintain sophistication and the proper clear space and proportion to all elements in a layout.
NOTE: The size requirements for the Tagline logo version follow the same specs as the Primary logo shown on this page.
